Meet the Team

Our team is made up of passionate, caring professionals who are dedicated to supporting children and families in a way that feels safe, supportive, and genuinely meaningful.

With backgrounds in speech pathology, education, and support coordination, we bring a collaborative, play-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach to everything we do – always focusing on connection first and celebrating each child for who they are.

Rhi

Owner, Speech Pathologist

Rhiannon (Rhi) is a passionate speech pathologist who graduated from The University of Queensland in 2018.

Since then, she has exclusively worked with children, with her special interest area being working with autistic individuals with complex needs. Speech with Rhi & Friends was born out of Rhi’s love for play based learning and a need to share the benefits of this with children the world over!

In 2025, Rhi commenced her PhD with the University of Queensland with a focus on supporting neurodiverse children and families to help educators understand what neurodiverse people need to be successful and engage in education. Rhi’s goal for her career and life is to help the community to understand and provide safe, inclusive environments for those with invisible differences.

When Rhi isn’t being a Speech Pathologist, you can find her doing
crosswords, reading for her PhD, caring for her fur babies and planning her next trip!
